David Ott grew up in Gorham, Maine and is a graduate of Bowdoin College. He earned his MBA degree from Boston College.
David’s thirty- year business career has been in banking and manufacturing. Among his positions since returning to Maine in 1991 are: President, Maine Rubber International; President, Fleet Bank of Maine; and Senior Executive Vice President/Chief Banking Officer, Banknorth Group.
In addition, David has served on many charitable and business boards over the years including: United Way (2002 Campaign Chair), Susan Curtis Foundation, Senator George Mitchell Scholarship Institute, Portland Museum of Art, Portland Symphony Orchestra, Maine Chamber of Commerce, and The Finance Authority of Maine (FAME).
David and his wife, Martha, reside in Cumberland. They have two grown children.
