Peter Hawkes is well qualified in negotiating, financing and closing real estate transactions and looks forward to fulfilling your real estate needs.
While working in sales and customer relations positions at Sabre Yachts in the early 80’s, Peter worked closely with purchasers and owners of high quality sailing yachts. Servicing customers of fine yachts required a detailed understanding of the exacting production process along with an ability to meet and exceed the expectations of people who demand the very best.
In the mid 80’s Peter refocused his knowledge of the production process and sales of recreational products towards real estate. Peter joined Peter Webber’s real estate development team at Sugarloaf/USA. There he was responsible for the marketing and sales of new trailside homes and condominiums and acted as a liaison between new homebuyers and the general contractor. Professionals seeking fine properties for family relaxation & enjoyment could trust Peter to deliver.
In the early 90’s, Peter joined Anania & Associates in Portland as a Business Broker providing valuation and transactional services for manufacturing and distribution businesses throughout Maine and even Canada. Peter worked closely with individual buyers, investment groups, business owners, accountants and attorneys. Valuations included manufacturing companies with revenues upwards of $30 million. Closed transactions varied from a reputable Maine boatyard, to an airfreight forwarding company, as well as, a mold manufacturer for the plastic industry, and more.
