Bio:

Ann has been at RE/MAX By the Bay since early 2006. She works with both buyers and sellers. With buyers, she helps them to find the property that is perfect for them and then sees them through the entire home-buying process to closing and beyond. She can help them find a lender to work with and then will manage the process to make certain that all the deadlines are met. She knows home inspectors and other professionals who will help her clients in the process of purchasing their new home.

Detail-oriented by nature, she is diligent in her research of the properties and provides exceptional customer service to her clients, going above and beyond what is expected of her.

For sellers, Ann helps to market listings colorfully and creatively. She creates compelling flyers and hosts open houses often with refreshments and flair, enticing buyers to envision themselves living in the home that is for sale. Helping the seller to create an environment that will speak to as many potential buyers as possible is part of the service. When an offer is made, Ann helps the seller to understand all components of the offer and then to get the property under contract and closed as easily as possible. She stays in contact with the buyer or buyer’s agent, the lender, the appraiser and the title company to ensure that the deal goes smoothly for the seller.

Ann spent two years in the San Francisco Bay Area as the result of a corporate relocation, and uses her first-hand experience with relocating to help families new to the area find the resources they need to make a smooth transition as they move to Greater Portland.

A Maine native, Ann lives in Cumberland Center, She has two sons in the MSAD 51 school district (Cumberland-North Yarmouth) and one son who graduated from Cheverus High School  in Portland. Her children attended private Montessori pre-schools in Falmouth. Ann has extensive knowledge of the greater Portland area having also lived in North Yarmouth, South Portland and Cape Elizabeth,. In her spare time she sings in the Royal River Chorus of Sweet Adelines International as well as in a female barbershop quartet, Rally. Her community involvement includes volunteer work at the Cumberland Congregational Church, with Pack 13 Cub Scouts, and at the schools, as a class parent and a coach for the Greely Middle School Odyssey of the Mind team. She also plants a pink tulip garden annually to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. Ann donates a portion of her commission from each transaction to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
