Bio:
David is a native of Maine and has lived in the Greater Portland area for over twenty years. He specializes in residential properties, relocations and enjoys helping first time home buyers find the home of their dreams. David believes the most important part of his job is ensuring that each and every client feels like his only client.
David grew up in Gorham, graduated from Bowdoin College and earned an MBA from Boston College. Prior to entering the real estate industry David spent thirty years in banking and manufacturing serving as President of Maine Rubber International, President of Fleet Bank of Maine and Senior Executive Vice President/Chief Banking Officer of Banknorth Group.
Community service, education and the arts are very important to David. He has served on numerous non-profit boards and was the United Way’s 2002 Campaign Chair. He is currently on the Portland Museum of Art’s Board of Fellows and has served on the Portland Symphony Orchestra, Maine Chamber of Commerce, and the Susan Curtis Foundation’s boards as well. David is a strong supporter of education and a patron of the George Mitchell Scholarships for their efforts to assist first generation college students in Maine.
In his free time David enjoys running, golf, skiing and cheering on the Boston Red Sox from Fenway Park. David and his wife, Martha, live in Falmouth and have two grown children.
